The natural world around us vibrates with an energy and inspiration that has become the driving force for my paintings. Working and residing in Tulsa, Oklahoma, I strive to render this planet’s varied displays of life, and use oil paints and watercolor to produce the subtle yet powerful changes in value structure in order bring the subject’s true essence to the canvas. Heeding guidance from light and shadow and the acute points where these forces merge, I work to portray the beauty that resides in the timeless arenas of our planet.
